Most of my industry still treats a person as an audience, and that model was built for a world where attention only moved in one direction. Twenty-two years of jiu-jitsu taught me that connection is information. Grip too hard and you strangle it. Too loose and you lose it.
The second book is about pressure literacy, which is the skill of reading what pressure is telling you instead of reacting to it. It covers resistance, and it covers connection and progress too. We are all grappling with the pressures of life, and the mat has a great deal to say about that which has nothing to do with fighting.
